Coconut Fatty Acid
fatty acids are derived from both Palm Oil and Palm Kernel Oil and are produced from the splitting of fats at high temperature and pressure. Depending on customer requirements, they are available as broad cuts or purer fatty acids by simple or fractional distillation. Common applications for fatty acids include rubber processing, candles and cosmetic products or use as feedstock to produce derivatives such as MCTs, soap, and metallic soap. Intermediate chemicals such as fatty alcohols, fatty amines and fatty esters can also be manufactured from fatty acids.
Benefits
- We use coconut fatty acid as a cleaning agent.
- Surfactants are generally alkaline in nature, and by reducing the pH using coconut fatty acid, the product becomes less foamy.
- This makes it easier to rinse the surfactant, stains, and dirt away while still providing a high level of cleaning power.
- The Cosmetic Ingredients Review has deemed coconut acid as safe for use in cosmetics.
- Whole Foods has deemed the ingredient acceptable in its body care and cleaning product quality standards.
Packing
As per the customer requirements, currently limited to bulk (tote bags), different sizes of glass/PET bottles with sealed lids, drums and pails. Sealed type condition with the temperatures of 16°C to 30°C
- Glass bottles – 200ml, 300ml, 500ml, 1000ml
- Pails – 20L
- Drum – 210L
- Tote – 1000L
